Beer, Britain and Brass
Saturday 5th June - starting at 7:30pm
The Uttoxeter Brass Band will be performing at the Town Hall in support of the newly renamed Heritage Centre "Redfern's Cottage : A museum of Uttoxeter Life".
The group of local volunteers have managed to stop the Heritage Centre closing down and have agreed a 25 year lease with the council to keep the place open staffed by volunteers. We have renamed the centre in honour of Francis Redfern who lived there and wrote his History of The Town of Uttoxeter from the house on Carter Street. Redfern was a cooper by trade.
The event will celebrate his life and times and all funds raised will go to support the heritage centre. Pay on the door - £6 Adults & £5 concessions.
